By registering for and participating in any retreat, workshop, or event hosted by Creating With Nature (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register.

Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older unless otherwise specified. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
Registration & Payment

Full payment or a non-refundable deposit (as specified at registration) is required to secure your spot.
If a payment plan is offered:
Payments must be made on time.
Failure to complete payments may result in forfeiture of your spot without refund.
We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion.
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Participant Cancellations
Due to the planning and preparation involved in hosting retreats:
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 45 days before the retreat may receive a partial refund (minus deposit).
Cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat are non-refundable.
You may transfer your spot to another participant only with written approval from us.
Host Cancellation
If Creating With Nature cancels the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to weather, illness, venue issues, or insufficient enrollment), you are entitled to receive a refund of payments made. We are not responsible for additional costs incurred.
Assumption of Risk

Retreats may include outdoor activities, movement practices, nature-based experiences, travel, and group participation.
By attending, you acknowledge and accept that participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Physical injury
Illness
Emotional discomfort
Travel-related risks
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Health & Medical Responsibility

You are responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being during the retreat.
Creating With Nature does not provide medical or psychological services. If you have medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or mental health concerns that may impact your participation, you agree to consult your healthcare provider prior to attending.
You agree to inform us of any relevant health conditions during registration.
Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Creating With Nature, its organizers, facilitators, employees, contractors, and partners from any and all liability, claims, damages, or expenses arising from your participation in the retreat.
This includes personal injury, property damage, loss, or other claims.
We are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or venue issues.
Photography & Media Release

Retreat Documentation & Promotional Use Creating with Nature retreats and events may be photographed and recorded for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes. This includes use across our website, social media channels, email communications, and printed materials. By attending, you acknowledge and agree that Creating with Nature may use images or video footage in which you appear, without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or included in any media, please notify us in writing prior to the retreat. We will make every reasonable effort to honor your request.
Guest Photography During the Retreat To protect the immersive and focused nature of our creative environment, the use of professional photography equipment during the retreat is not permitted without prior written approval from the retreat hosts. Guests are warmly welcome to take casual photographs for personal use and enjoyment throughout their experience.
Professional cameras, commercial photography equipment, or any photography intended for business, marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in advance by the retreat organizers.
We invite you to be fully present during our time together. Our team will thoughtfully document moments throughout the retreat and will share a curated collection of images with all attendees following the experience.

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Participants agree to:
Treat others with kindness and respect
Honor confidentiality within the group
Refrain from disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior
We reserve the right to remove a participant from the retreat without refund if their behavior compromises the safety or well-being of others.
Intellectual Property

All retreat materials, teachings, content, and resources provided by Creating with Nature remain our intellectual property.
You may not reproduce, distribute, record, or sell materials without written permission.
The images, artwork, and contents of this website may not be copied, collected, or used for personal or professional gain without the written permission from creating with nature. All images of artwork, sold or otherwise, are retained ownership.

Travel & Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for:
Their own travel arrangements & (if staying off-site), accommodations
Travel insurance (recommended)
Personal belongings
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
